I can reanimate corpses technically, but she'd be a mish mash of souls and personalities, which would send the corpse completely insane. Hence I don't let them live for long.

Well, giant portals like the one at zicamia seem to have some strange effects... For say, a recently killed soul coming back to help a loved one and haunt the one that killed it...

Must be a very determined soul then... souls don't normally bother to remain in the toil of the circles of the world unless they have some really big unfinished business-like the ghasts.
