The war between Solumdes Shrine and Arcem
Moondas was sitting idly in the stands of the Rull arena while watching a small duel between a mage and a thief. As he sat a man in a black golden lined robe walked up to him and gave him a proposition.
"How would you like to be rich beyond your wildest dreams?" said the strange man.
Moondas looked at the man ridiculously "You think I'll fall for this scam?"
The man nodded his head and sat beside Moondas humming a quiet tune. "This is no scam. Just a small task for an even bigger one."
Moondas felt his money pouch, which was empty, then looked at the hooded figure. "Fine. What do I have to do?"
The man stood up and gave Moondas a map and a name. The name on the paper he was given was Robert Hobs, along with a map of a place called Solumdes Shrine.
"I need you to raid this area. Then you get your wealth."
Moondas read the map then looked to ask the man a question, the man was gone.
The next day Moondas set off to Solumdes Shrine. Looking for this Robert Hobs.
"Hello!" Moondas yelled.
A man came out a entrance saying "Hello? Why are you here?"
"Um...I would like to join Solumdes Shrine are you Robert?" said Moondas tilting his head.
"Yes, I'm Robert. If you want to join your going to have to devote yourself to Solumde." said Robert a bit suspiciously.
"Well I'm a Endrite. I feel as I could be of use here in the shrine." Said Moondas nervously.
Robert looked at Moondas and tried to see his purple eyes. "Well Endrites are welcome here at Solumdes Shrine."
Robert welcomed Moondas into the shrine, Moondas looked around while Robert started working on the temple a little bit more. As soon as Robert left the shrine to run a errand Moondas started bagging everything he could find that was useful. By the time Robert came back everything was gone including Moondas. Moondas ran from the balloon to Solumdes Shrine as fast as he could. Returning to the Rull Arena. Moondas looked around for the hooded man. The man appeared behind him giving Moondas quite a scare.
The man looked at Moondas then at the bag full of items he carried. The cloaked man leaned forward to grab the bag but Moondas moved it away from his grasp.
"First you hold up your end of the bargain. Where is my money?" Said Moondas staring at the man.
"Oh there is money to be given but, after that task you may join Arcem," said the man taking off his hood. "My name is Rartin Akar."
"So this was about joining a thiefs town? Well I guess I do need protection now, I accept Rartin." said Moondas handing over the bag.
"You may also take anything you need from the vault" said Rartin walking Moondas to Arcem.
As Rartin and Moondas were walking to Arcem Robert looked into his chests to find everything gone.
"MOONDAS!!!" Screamed Robert Hobs
Robert quickly alerted the citizens of Solumdes Shrine. Awaking everyone in they're slumber. The citizens quickly ran outside and asked what the problem was.
"A thief has stolen everything! everything but our houses!" cried Robert to his underlings.
Moondas hastened toward Arcem hearing Roberts voice. Rartin quickly hid the items in the vault as Roberts forces flooded through the gate. Moondas being a lowly thief wasn't strong enough. While Moondas was hiding Ryan Severance and Rartin Akar made they're blades of use. Finally as they pushed back the army Moondas came out of hiding. As long as Moondas was with Arcem he was protected. The people of Arcem protected Moondas with they're life's, as long as Solumdes Shrine was attacking Arcem was defending. A few days after the war was started Robert asked Rartin to surrender.
"Hah! Surrender? Were the ones winning." Laughed Rartin.
Arcem stayed alive while Solumdes Shrine was burning to the ground. Finally after a week of the war Robert asked to form a treaty. Rartin agreed as long as they stayed away from Arcem.
