... its not the new map... its a plugin failure... can't you read?! i did read and i'm saying because there is down time anyways why not go ahead and switch to the new map (if ready) so they don't have to go around fixing the problems in the world brought on by the corruption |

Bob, I can from experience tell you when towny blows up like this, it can be hugely bad. Ill be surprised if they are up before Monday, honestly.

Yes it was bad lol, Towny crashed, we got broke, old builds clashed with new builds, we are being rolled back every time we log in to our previous spots before towny crashed, and most buildings have been replaced or torn to bits! Yep its a bit messed up, but just wait for probably a few hours, take a break and do something while waiting.

I don't mind it being down. I actually rather have it down so they can fix it, and hopefully make sure it doesn't happen again. I just was wondering why it was taking a bit. I've been playing Bloons Tower Defense 5 anyways. I do know though, the admins are trying there hardest to fix it, unless they get sleepy.

I remember back in the server I had this happen on, it was right before we switched to a new map, and. Everything id built, from my capitol city to my oldest fortress got shredded likw this, being reduced to ocean and sand. Only my palace came out in tact, and that was extremely beat to hell. Sections of wall and towers missing, it was bad. This wasn't nearly as bad, but will probably take the admins several days to fix completely, if they can.

Think of it like this: The Server is like a stack of dominoes on the street. Some minor things happen, causing a domino to fall. This then makes another small domino fall, then the next, etc. No Big Deal. But, a small domino hits another domino marked "Towny". When that is even touched in the slightest, and even begins to lose its balance, it explodes, causing a nearby building to crumble. This destroys all other buildings in the area, then hits a local Nuclear Plant and blows up the city.
Yea, When Towny Fails, it takes the entire server with it. All the admins are hard at work trying to figure out WTF is wrong, but it shouldnt take too long unless something unexpected happens.
Oh, and Bob..... HELL YEA! Im not the only person who likes BTD 5 :3
