I am applying for level 2 mod.

Why should I be accepted: I have been on this server for a long time and have been part of the AOC Staff for a while now. I was chosen mod in the first picking of me being on the server. I really dont know what new commands we are getting but I think they will be more LB commands. If they are LB commands that would make it so I could look better at grief and such.

Why am I applying: Some of the staff were talking about it and Vexx called me a "mini ban hammer already", but I told him I wasnt planing on applying for it. Vexx talked me into applying for level 2 mod.

Other info: As many of the members in TBC know, I play hockey. This cuts down a little bit of time on the server. I would have practice once or twice in weekdays and 1-3 games on the weekend. I do have Skype, some friends convinced me into getting it.

I also think Shezza should level up, because it's true that Shezza HAS helped a lot of people. He was the only one who helped me when I first spawned in the server, and added me to his faction, unlike the others who 'were full'. Shezza is always on the server as much as his time zone allows, (I know because I'm on all day) and is frequently on the scene when there's trouble afoot. I noticed that whenever I asked for mod help Shezza is almost always the one who responds, and he has an almost perfect record to boot. I personally believe that without Shezza, a lot of our most loyal contributing members wouldn't have stayed on the server for more than a passing glance. Not saying that I'm one of them, but I certainly wouldn't have. Shezza also taught me my mod commands, AND was hanging out with me on the server when it was down the other day JUST to answer people's questions, and reassure them that it was being fixed. Shezza is the ideal mod; In my opinion, for what it's worth, Shezza deserves a rank-up the most.

And I'd pick ZipZap second if it was my choice, because although a lot of crap is said about him (mostly untrue btw), he really is a very good leader and mod, especially for someone of his age.

I'd agree with Pajos. Zip has been mod a very long time. Even though many people don't like him, he seems to be a good mod. He doesn't abuse his ban powers, and I've only seen him get in one argument involving his ban powers. Vote Zip. (and Shezz)

Thanks tl. I would like to say, I know to you it might seem funny to blame me for stuff, but i dont like it and unless you have REAL proof to be blaming me, please dont just say "Zip did it".

I know I'm a new mod to the server, however I'm going to apply to show I want to advance and make an effort.

Why do I think I would be good for Tier 2 Modship? Not only am I fair, but I'm also stern and no when to make a good call. I'm here for the players, not because I want to be able to go "hey guys, im a mod on a minecraft server". I'm here to make the atmosphere appealing, make the server look good, and keep the trolls/griefers out of the tight nit family we are growing here. With the expansion of more player slots, we'll get more quality members and be able to take the server in new directions. However, I'd like to volunteer my services for Tier 2 Mod to handle the extra responsibility.

I'm good with people, I'm responsible, and I try to help everyone I can regardless of how difficult they're being. I'm here to make sure they're having fun, and you guys aren't bothered so you can run the behind the scenes that keep the server running.

WHY ME, you ask? Well good sir, let me take you on an epic 2-sentence journey, of MAGIC and wonder and daring, all in all much shorter than this intro...

In the short time i've been mod (about 3 days) I've started out my new job by spending the majority of a day sitting on the server with ALL the permissions broken , unable to build or activate blocks. I, along with Shezza, settled in for a long wait while Ig was at work, and we answered peoples complaints about the server issues and reassured them that it was being fixed. I have hastily responded to any and all questions and mod requests I see in the chat bar, and have helped several people and caught quite a few griefers already. Also, earlier today I was offered a bribe in return for lying on an lb check, and I swiftly and surely turned down the shady criminal, and banned him. Whereupon Vexx double-banned him. I have not abused my mod powers or changed the way i play for having them, anyone who watches me would notice that I have carried on in the same way i was before, except now taking time away from my builds to help those in need.

I am loyal, trustworthy, kind (although admittedly quite proud of my achievements, and i can get po'd when they're insulted), friendly, welcoming, I come down hard on griefers when someone's been hurt by their grief, and I enjoy helping people. I am a good sport and like to do my best to make sure those who wish to have a lot of fun. Thanks for bothering to read this!

When you made a ban, the ban MUST have a legit reason why they are banned, like spamming, caps, etc etc instead of 'You have been banned!' which shows no absolute reason. Or trolling, or griefing without logblock proof of where it was at.
