Why you are interested in becoming a Guide.
I'm interested because i really find that annoying that when a newbie asks a simple question, they only respond to answers given by staff and I love helping people out so i think this would be a wonderful experience from me to be a guide. I think being a guide would greatly be beneficial to become a guide.
I try to help new players whenever I can (although sometimes it leads to a slap). I love this and really want to help with guiding new players and helping them get set up on this server, as it takes a while to get adjusted to server life here. I have been told quite often IRL that I am quite good at helping others. When I try to help others usually they ignore, wanting staff help, So I want to help get a better reason to help others.
How you plan to help the newer players.
First of all, I am very filling to help get new players straitened out. Showing them directions to places like Rull and Herring, how not to get stolen from when you make your house in the wild (e.i. putting it underground) and getting them a hero class/prof as soon as possible. One thing I find about this server that is different from others is the difficulty of surviving in the wilderness even. They expect everything to come to them easily which many servers do(like having /kit, easy layouts, shops, easy to kill mobs). They don't understand many rules we have like raiding and PvP, which surprisingly not many people play on these kinds of servers anymore.
One thing I can do different from others is giving a tour of important places. Usually they will be asking questions like "where is Wilderness?", "Where is Rull?" or "Where can I level?" Instead of simply telling them, which all players might not understand where they are describing, can get them lost. This way they can fully get a feel of where to go to do certain things like leveling at dungeons.
Besides this, when they ask about making an RP bio, I will remember to show them some tips like how not to god mod, what races there are and how to improve what they already have. I would also be happy in helping find a town that fits their bio. I won't baby the newer players, but try and give them the best experience possible.
Also don't worry about me getting angry at noobs, i'm not going to attack unless it's in defense or it's PvP and the other player is fine with it.
Amount of time available to play on the server.
I will honestly get about 4-5 hours of playtime on weekdays and 6-9 hours on weekends and holidays. I live in Newfoundland, Canada. Which is an odd time zone as I am online when North American and West European players are online, which means I get to play in that awkward in between time, letting me help those little in-therebetweeners.
Time played on Age of Citycraft. (For experience of helping newbs.)
Somewhere between late March-April so that makes about 6-7 months.
Any additional information you wish to share.
I am currently a student. I am an active and social person. Many people I know consider me to be kind, friendly and generous. I am good with resolving fights and arguments. I have played minecraft since before redstone was added (not on this account though) so I got to learn about the game's new additions gradually as they were added instead of having trouble understanding everything at once which is confusing (there is a lot less content in 1.2 beta then in 1.2)
