Vyrus is very secretive and manipulative and often does things that benefit him only. Although he has many trust issues he can be very trustworthy if you can earn his respect.
Back story (side story): BANG! A tall young man with purple glowing eyes stands over the ruins of what used to be a humble but homey house. The tall man adorned in black and purple robes looks over to an elderly woman with his head hung low and in shame.
"Damn it, Vyrus! I told you not to try reanimating your dead cat! Now look at the mess you have made of our house! Why can't you just accept the damn thing is dead, ok?" the woman shouted.
The man replied in an innocent tone; "I'm sorry... I'm Sorry, please forgive me. I promise, I will never do it again, mother, I swear!"
"Isn't that what you promised last time?" the woman replied harshly but in a loving tone
"Yea, but it was Dirge! My cat was the only friend I ever had." Vyrus replied in a sorrowful tone.
His mother, seeing her child's grief looked at him and said in a forgiving tone "Tell you what, if you help me rebuild the section of the house you demolished I will forgive you, ok?" She smiled at Vyrus signifying he would be forgiven no matter what he did but knowing forgiveness would come more quickly if her helped, he decided to listen to his mother.
"Why is it that I can't make friends with other kids, mother?" Vyrus asked as he was picking up the shrapnel from his earlier explosion. "And why does everyone avoid me like I am some Demon Child?" His mother slowly looked back at her son in a sorrowful sway of motion.
"Vyrus, I told you I would tell you when you are older and more-"
Vyrus cuts his mother off abruptly "I know... when I am older and more capable of controlling my magic... but I AM older and I DO control it better... except for the explosion just then. I want to know why I am so strange!" he explains.
"Vyrus" his mother pauses but then continues in a tone that meant she understood. "I was going to tell you on your birthday but now is as good a time as ever. You see, you are an Enderite. A being of half Ender and half Human." The young man's eyes widen with astonishment. "Your father, was an Enderman and thus when we created you, we knew you would be half Ender. The townspeople are afraid of you because of this and because they know the Ender holds great power and thus are afraid of it and do not understand it."
Vyrul stops and stares at his mother and tries to speak but as he makes the attempt a large man with two smaller men walk onto their shrapnel filled property and speak to the mother in a very rude and rough tone. "Hello, miss. As you know that boy... that... thing was born 17 years ago and tomorrow will be his 18th cursed year. As we promised we would wait 'till now to act and to see if the boy was in fact part Ender but as the entire village knows, he is. Now move aside, miss and don't get in our way!"
The mother looked to Vyrus and said "Run.." She then proceeded to wave her arms in a spell casting fashion.
Vyrus then proceeded to run but then to his surprise he looked back to see his mother doing magic! He never knew his mother kept something like that from him. As he thought to himself what was happening he continued to run and he wanted to get out of there. He knew he had to leave and get away quickly. He was so concentrated on leaving the area he felt a quick tingle in his feet and he closed his eyes but when he opened them he was in a place he did not recognize and all he saw was a purple mist behind him slowly fade away. He then proceeded to look around... slowly he looked for his mother, taking care not to be spotted. He eventually figured that he was safe but he still had adrenaline pumping throughout his veins. He remembered his mother saying "run" and he quickly looked around. he then called out "MOTHER!" To his dismay, no one answered. He knew he was alone in the world now and unsure if his mother was even alive.
That night he curled up into a ball and slept. He slept because he knew he was now being set lose into his own adventure. He hoped he could maybe find his mother, or even his father, especially since he knows his father is an Enderman. He wanted answers of what he was and he needed to know where his family was. He was alone and he knew it. He was not afraid though, he knew it was just a challenge to over come, just like the death of his cat.
