Why you are interested in becoming a guide:
I want to become a guide because I feel like I help players, especially new ones, a lot and I would like to be able to do so officially, which I think would definitely make new players feel more secure about playing on aoc and accepting help from me (which would probably make all the mods lives a little easier and less irritating which means the mods would be more likely to help with things only they can). I also never feel the need to be controlling or boss people about so I wouldn't end up trying to abuse a staff title. Becoming a guide wouldn't change the way I play aoc, I have fun playing but I want every single person who joins wether they are a builder, a fighter, an rp'er or just some random noob who wandered in and wondered what they were doing like me I want them to have as much fun and do as amazing things as possible and a servers first impression affects peoples view on it forever, if they join for the first time and no-one sais anything to them or answers their questions then if they don't leave they'll always think of people as unhelpful but if they are welcomed and have their questions answered then they'll think that the everyone on the server is great and they'll interact with everyone and eventually help all the noobs too.
How you plan to help new players:
I often go out of my way to do so by doing things like teaching them about heroes (I have done a significant amount of research into some of the more in-depth professions, and although most of it isn't publically available I still know a lot more than most people seem to) and towny, aswell as leading them somewhere that they can build if I can't find a town for them to join (although hopefully soon I will be able to invite new players to EC once again) and will continue to do so in the same way, but as official staff instead of just some guy who can probably help. I can (and allready do) also help players with rp bios, especially with things like grammar, aswell as spending a lot of time just talking to people and watching the forums so I can generally also help with what's been going on recently (the whole semi-civil war thing and spawn being moved did cause quite a few questions especially). After they have got themselves set up a little I can then explain trade, the market and the various chats, which can prove to be fairly confusing at first.
Amount of time available to play on the server:
I can usually get on at around 4pm and am then on most of the time till around 10pm, both GMT times.
Time played on age of citycraft:
I have been playing on aoc since around July last year and because of that have much experience with the way plugins and commands work on aoc aswell as lot of knowledge of the rules and things happening on the server.
Any additional information you wish to share:
I understand the responsibilities and perks (none) of being a guide and I do honestly enjoy helping people, I am as helpful as I can be 99% of the time unless someone else is allready helping the person in need, and I know I have f****d up in the past but hopefully by doing this and becoming a guide I will be able to prove how sorry I am and maybe, in time, I will be forgiven. I also have some fairly basic knowledge of redstone and logic gates so my ability to help people could extend to helping with that sort of thing if necessary.
