I get told that I must get permission to become a Vampire for Role Playing purposes, is this true?
If so,
What are the requirements for me to become a vampire for Role Playing purposes?

Like an rp vampire? So your race would be vampire? You would have to put that in your bio.
FYI: I am the king of the vampires :3
A quick note, once you become a vampire, you cannot turn back unless you kill your char.

So all I have to do is claim to be one in my bio, and that would be it?
Also, I am planning not reveal how I got turned in my bio, is that fine?

Just make sure you don't name people's names that are vampires. You need to ask permission to use their names.
