I'm looking for good designs for houses/town halls/mansions/market/spire for my new town, Arcem. The pay for the designs and prototype will vary: anywhere from 500g for a house design to 2k for mansion/spire designs. They have to be top-notch to win the bid for the design. I'm looking to make the best-looking, best-designed town on the server, and will pay to do so. Materials can be provided once approved.
Please submit portions of your work, or new prototypes either on this thread or via pm.
Also feel free to post ideas on this thread, they will be much appreciated. Screenshots of the landscape to come.

A general theme you want might help people design things for you.

As is, I don't have any specific theme in mind, looking for ideas here early on. Once I have a theme, I can have architects and builders work to that theme. The screenshots I'll post may help with that.

I'm not great at designing but I'd be happy to help with copying house designs and that sort of thing, it's been a while since I've built anything on aoc and I think it'd do me some good.

A theme would be nice, like homely, modern, medieval, etc. I can design stuff for you if you want, I ust need a theme.

That'd be nice delt, and I can pay you a smaller builders fee if you'd like. I've already got many people helping build (for free), but I can use all the help I can get.
If you want to design a few things of each theme sbong, I can come closer to a decision on design theme for the place. I can tell you now though that I'm avoiding the use of bricks, sandstone, and brightly colored wools for the residential district. The homes will most likely be planks, stone, stone brick, wood, or a combination of those. There should be one and two story varieties (for upper/lower town), and should take up less than a plot chunk sized area.

Pay won't be necessary.

Topographical view: A central spire will be constructed in the middle of the lake (atop will be the town spawn), with perhaps water/lava falling around it. Will connect to the 3-4 bluffs around it. Suggested materials: stone, stone bricks, netherbrick, glowstone, obsidian, mossy stone bricks. Open to ideas for design. Attachments:

View of lake and surrounding bluffs, taken from the Mayor's Overhanging (where my mansion will be). Left and right bluffs will be residential/hotel/ambassador areas, middle section for market (maybe?), farm areas will be behind left bluff (slopes down onto the shore). Directly behind the middle bluff will be the port, will also need an architect to design the port/ship. And I apologize for the terrible paint drawings. I promise I'm not 12. Attachments:

I will be more than happy to provide both obsidian and stone for construction, maybe having a couple ships around the central spire would be nice, and maybe a small group of fishing huts or something on the top left beach. I'm just throwing a couple ideas around.
EDIT: The mini-map makes it seem a lot larger than it is, ignore the parts about ships and such.

Indeed it does XD There's room for a large ship or two out in the harbor area, however. The water you see outside the lake is a small harbor area that leads to a vast, open ocean.

Got a nice design for a house made of planks, redwood and stonebricks. Should I post pics?
Btw, I don't mind building as well - I am needing spare cash.

Here are some pics: Front Back Sides This design can have two storeys - a smaller one on top, or just one storey. Enjoy! P.S. I can also build these pretty quickly - just give me the materials.

This would work great for some of the upper-level residential area. Can you flatten the roof some and make a smaller version also?
