Why you are interested in becoming a Guide.
-I've been on this server for quite a while now and am quite aquianted with the rules and general feel for the server. I am looking to give back to the community that has provided me with a great experience. I've seen far too many newbies join the server, look around confused, get bored, and leave. The server thrives on new players to join the family we already have here and to one day (hopefully) donate to the server, in fun, money, or friendship.
Generally speaking: More players -> more fun, active server -> higher ranking server -> more players, mods, and guides -> more players -> more donators -> a better running, faster running, more active, and more fun server for all players.
How you plan to help the newer players.
-Helping the new players feel welcome, for starters. If they don't feel they belong/are having fun, they'll leave. Other primary concerns include answering questions about heroes, plugins, towns, rules (don't want them to get all excited about the server then banned for a reason they were unsure of), forums, PvP, RP events and bios (though I may not be as well acquainted with RP as some other players, I can certainly point new players in the right direction: the forums should answer all questions they have pertaining to that, but if they still have questions, I can find out the answer myself and respond to them).
Amount of time available to play on the server.
-I'm often on a few hours of the day, usually ranging from 2-5pm, then from 9pm-2am weekdays, though usually in the range of those times, not necessarily the entire time. There are days, however, in which I may not be on at all due to homework or an upcoming test/final. I'm usually on more often on the weekends (most of Saturday, and the earlier half of Sunday), unless I have something going on that weekend. All times are Central (Texas).
Time played on Age of Citycraft.
-I've been playing on this server longer than all but a few now; ever since late June/early July of last year (back when the only admins were Krazzie and Mikey (as far as I knew)).
Any additional information you wish to share.
-I am an engineering student at one the best Texas public universities, on a full scholarship. That should show to my maturity and responsibility.
I also know all of the rules in their latest and greatest form, in all detail.
I am also in the process of building a new town in which I plan to make extremely active, and help (mature) new players.
I've noticed that I am often online while no other mods/admins or guides are online (usually late night). While not many, there are new players online then that I have helped assist in answering questions.
I've mastered two classes in heroes and about to master my second professions. I'm experienced with the heroes plugin in general, and am knowledgeable about not just my own class/profession, but also (almost) all others. Again, where I lack in information I can find a knowledgeable source (without bothering mods/admins).
And yes I am aware that almost every paragraph started with some derivative of "I". But, the application is all about me, no?
Thank you for reading.
