This is a poem I have based off of Rorujo, being the true king of Rull but not claiming the crown.
Under my mask of stone I am no different than any other Under my mask I am troubled like any other man Under my mask I have feelings... somewhere Under my mask I wonder, why me? Under my mask I know I'm doomed to die a slow, horrible death Under my mask worries fill my mind and heart Under my mask I felt the blade with my father Under my mask I am ripped in half Under my mask I hunger for the blood of the evil Under my mask I crave to avenge my people Under my mask I greave over the dead of Rull Under my mask I am terrified to do what I must Under my mask I am only Rorujo Under my mask Rorujo Rull does not exist

My favourite poem. And that's saying something, going out with a writer.

Very effective use of repetition suggests the constant hiding of the persona.

Very nice metaphor. Makes us see the poem in a different way.

Very effective use of repetition suggests the constant hiding of the persona. Oh god I'm having flashbacks about war poetry comparison essays.
