Ya, i agree with alwayz (for once.... jk) that with this new system, it would take a little more time for people to get into a town. But once they join a town, it will be amazing...

Delta, how fun is it to live on your own in the wilderness, constantly hunted and robbed, and having to walk home everytime. It is so much more fun to be in a town, and its rough for someone to be excluded. I was lucky, I got into a town on my first day. If I hadn't I was seriously about to quit...... and deprive myself of about 6 months of my fav pass time I dont want new members to make the same mistake as to turn their back on the server

I don't mean permanently, just until they get their rp sorted out and join a town.

Or, they can live at one of Rull's many inns. If new players start off at inns then they will be put to use AND there could be an innkeeper to help them rp (that is the way they get a room, rp).

we might have a change of heart if we find some other type of town management system. but only time will tell.

*Le sigh* This sets me back a few plans.
Oh well. All I need is Lucavex to sort his town out, and all will be well.

Delta, you and Shezza let me join EC immediatley after I first logged, and then you gave me supplies and I was able to build a keep and have fun. I probably would have quit otherwise.
Also, on the subject of this new voxelport system: I am planning to make MAJOR renovations to the Archonfel port. It's kinda dinky right now. I will be expanding it so it sprawls, and can fit dozens of ships. I will build houseboats and "coffin ships" that people can rent to live in. My point is, if a town that is either neutral or unzoned pays for a voxelboat, it could be docked from Archonfel. Now I know you'll say they probably wouldnt be zoned if they were neutral, but it's easy to have very distinct rp without having to commit to absolute evil or absolute good.

EC is going to be completely neutral so it could serve as a temporary place for noobs and a safe place for everyone.
EDIT: Also aku, just bitch slap that mo-fo until he gets some bloody work done.

Delta, I wouldnt recommend that. Your town's RP is to reliant on your Guild, that they can now intertwine. Plus, I would rather have newbs in a crappy area so they at least have some motivation to want to move out

I've just thought of something, since there'd be no towny, couldn't people technically be in two towns? If so I might resurrect Old Ender.

Well, if you ask, you could use one of them for a town, and the other for the Guild. The Syndicate has a town, the Army has an Encampment, so if Ender Guards step up more, they should get a bigger area too
