In game Name: Minea.
What position am I applying for?
I am applying for the position of guide.
Why should i be accepted as a guide?
Well I think I should be accepted because although I'm not as old as the older generations I have been playing since November so I'm well versed in Age of City Craft rules and traditons. Also I love to help people, various people can back me up on this as I have financially helped out new players on the server who have been raided or scammed due to inexperience of server rules. Also I hold a relatively high Role play position and being a guide would allow me to officially help new players and allow me to gain their trust more easier which would help them to join the rp organisation I run, thus increasing rp on the server. Basically I love to help and although this sounds cliché I love to help because it makes more server friends.
What minecraft experience do you have?
I have been playing minecraft since beta 1.2 and although that isnt as long as some other players I feel that knowledge of the new updates is of high importance as well.
How you plan to help new players?
I often help new players to get started largely through choice of a hero, their role play (I always straight away question them if they like to role-play etc. because im always recruiting ) and even financially to get them on their feet with food/a little bit of money/ weapons just the basic fundamentals to get started. Also I would usually strive to find them a new town and run them through the basics on the forums (which threads contain what) and I wouldnt even mind helping them with their role-play bio on skype or email as I have already done this with a few players. Also I'd like to explain the various age of city craft area's, as logging into a big city like Rull can be quite confusing, as well as helping out with hero commands and 3rd person/rp commands.
Amount of time able to play on the server?4
Well in my school holidays I am able to play on anywhere between 5- 6 hours a day depending on local events and during school terms I can play about 4-5 hours (AEST)
Time played on Age of CityCraft
I have been playing since November 2011, as I said I'm obviously not part of the oldest generation but I still consider myself a type of veteran as there are a lot of players that I have been getting to know that are new to me. However although Im not as old as the other veterans I believe myself to be capable in the understanding of AOC guidlines and current role play.
Any additional information you wish to share?
Well as with any server staff position I understand that the tag obviously cant be used for personal exploitation of other players. Even though this tag doesnt come with mod commands or anything like that I still feel that this position requires a large responsibility and that being a guide is about serving the Age of City Craft population not about trying to put yourself above others. Also I'd like to add that I live in Australia (GMT +10) and the times when I have been online no server staff have been online (apart from an occasional chat with Shezza and ig on late doind some maintenance) if I become a guide I could be online for new players living in the GMT +8/9/10/11/12 time zones thus being a help to staff who would be sleeping. Anyway thanks for the time to read this who ever does, and good luck to the rest of you!
