Datric would stumble out the door of his house, drenched in his own blood..Still only five, he would have a high resilience to pain, yet he would continue to wail as if a thousand banshees took his place. Even as he was sloshing through a ferocious rain, he heard his father roaring his name.

"How DARE you call yourself a Ladimore, you weak vessel of life!"
