Aku made it possible to get to the chests now
But no good rewards I've seen (59g from one of the four "uber" chests)

You can get really good rewards at the top but the chests are messed up. Waiting on Krazzie to fix. Of the items you can get are rare disks, diamond armor, glowstone dust, cake, etc.
