Since the dawn of time, The nine worlds have accumulated a vast amount of knowledge. Whether it was knowledge of how to cast spells or create weapons, they learned many things. This lead to the creation of the demi-god, Sarkath, the Accumulator of All Knowledge. He knew every event that ever occurred, whether it was big or small, His power grew. He decided to compile all of his knowledge into a vast library. Every recorded event was somewhere in his library. He kept his presence secret from the races that inhabited the eight worlds, for he knew that the knowledge he possessed was to great for the worlds to handle. He understood that knowledge can be used for great good and great evil as well.
However, there was one race that he cared for greatly, the Dark Elves. He shared some of his knowledge with them by taking control of influential leaders and scholars and writing tomes and creating ingenious inventions. Sarkath showed the Endermen how to create the fabled ender gates. They used the gates to travel to other worlds. But they soon became too powerful and Sarkath became unable to control the knowledge he had given them.
Some Dark Elves became arrogant and boastful. And one Elf named Warlock betrayed his own kind by gathering followers and starting a civil war. The war raged on for many years until Sarkath took away much of their knowledge and a dark age began. The war was still fought, however the great knowledge they had before was mostly lost. They eventually learned to translate their now ancient language, but much of their ancient tomes were destroyed. Many groups were organized to uncover and translate the ancient tomes, but most of them were unsuccessful in their missions.
As the years passed, Sarkath looked upon the nine worlds as the great civilizations he once enjoyed writing tomes about, crumbled. For years he believed his presence would be the undoing of civilizations. But now, he has realized that sharing his knowledge with the Dark Elves was not what destroyed them, perhaps it was their arrogance that became their undoing. And maybe, by sharing his accumulated knowledge with the world in his true form, he can restore order and end the Dark age of technology that has befallen the last of the in-corrupt nine worlds.
