Ok so looking around me i see that with the new map update there are a lot of people/organisations updating too. Now i have been thinking about changing the guardian uniform, updating it if you will.
NOW before all you haters start to celebrate, clap your hands and stomp your feet i will say the REAL reasons for changing, note now that the reason for possible change is NOT because the general public *COUGH* AKurei half of lucavexx's army, Trueblood city, some other haters *COUGH* hates our uniform, we can handle that, here are the real reasons below.
-A while a go when we first made it Alwayz pointed out an important point, our uniforms were green/camoey instead of blue and gold like Rull. My argument was that the green was camo so it made sense to have an somehwhat olden day camo skin. But after considering this i realised that our roleplay is medieval/feudal/steampunk and a few other stuff. Now i dont know about steam punk but for medieval and feudilstic times, back in the day men at arms/soldiers/knights who fought wore the colours of their lords/kings/country/city estates coat of arms. Back then there wasnt really such a thing as camo, it was bright and explosive colours (not saying our uniform will be bright and explosive). So thats one of the reasons, it would be more realistic RP wise.
-Another reason (and personally i dont credit myself with this reason it doesnt sound legit to me) is that with the server updating its map, many others have started updating their rp skins etc etc. and to be honest we dont want to be left behind.
-The last reason, is this. The current uniform we have was DL of PMC, its not custom, its just a nice looking skin taken from someone, and i dont feel too good about that. We're a popular server, and the guardians are the only current real army we have, so we deserve to have our own custom skin.
Ok so the reason i made this thread is so i could have the opinion of the Guardians AND CONSTRUCTIVE critisicm from the public. I will be making a new custom skin shortly, if anyone believes they can handle the task and do a better job than me then please go for it, the judges will be the guardians as they have to wear it.
