Now, I had this idea. We have trade. We have loans. We have interest. We have a lot of important things that an IRL economy has. However, one thing we don't have, which would be awesome, is insurance. Say you pay 1g a day to the company. Then, if you get killed you get some money back. This would be awesome for noobs, or people who have risky jobs. If you die a lot, the cost of insurance goes up. This would need to be calculated etc. etc. but I think it would be a useful idea.

What about contents insurance to protect against theft? At risk areas would pay more and conditions such as making an attempt to hide your chests could be set. And when people throw fits over being robed we can just say that they should have had insurance like people do in IRL.

Its a good odea in theory, but its full of hole matey. Everyone wuld be making fake insurance claims, "Oh i fell off a cliff, oh i got raided, oh this guy killed me"

There isn't much of an economy in AOC anyway, the liquidity is insanely volatile.
