*This is set after the events of when Hiricho just came to Rull and a lot before his 25th birthday He is about 21-22 and he started his journey in Rull about 1 year before the events of this story. This is sort of Improved since my last one, With More Dialogue :D. Most events in this story are real Falcon Atlantis they are all real they were all towns in mid 2011 Monkey and bridley where residents of Falcon a town next to Atlantis I gave Gambokani 1000$ to start a town called dragon ridge. Enough of my ramble read the story now xD.
Hiricho stood back and admired his work, the tree had grown very large and the few tree house rooms were already full. The sun shone on the wet stone surround the tree and the sun shone with a kind of brilliance that only comes with the setting of the sun. Sighing Hiricho walked off towards the town hall for the annual expenses talk with the mayor and other assistants of Atlantis. Braccus and Whence were there but…
‘Where’s Gambokani?’ asked Hiricho curiously
‘He left the town and started up his own with some friends’ said whence ‘unfortunately, he was a good man.’
They all sat in quite companionship for a while and then got stuck in with the details of running a town
‘So, finally we come to the end of this meeting.’ Said Braccus tiredly ‘oh and Hiricho, good job on the tree so far it’s the main source of income for the town.’
‘Thanks Braccus I think I’ll go to bed now… I am rather tired’ yawned Hiricho. ‘Goodnight’.
‘Goodnight’ Braccus and whence replied as Hiricho walked out the door and into the night. The tree cast long shadows on the water as he walked towards his small cabin next to the towering tree. Hiricho paused as he saw something moving in the shadows. Moving closer he grabbed some flint and steel and lighted a torch. Looking into the spot where he saw movement Hiricho saw nothing except for a large root from the tree next to him. Dismissing it as just the wind he turned around towards his house torch in hand all the contemplating the moving shadow…
SMACK……… SMACK……… SMACK……… Pulling the axe away Hiricho grabbed a woollen towel to mop up the sweat from his brow.
Upkeep for a large tree while uncostly takes a lot of effort though Hiricho wryly. Pulling a wheelbarrow from the grass he grabbed the wood and heaped it into the barrow. He looked dismayed when he realised that it would take 4-5 treks to get all this wood back to Atlantis. On the way he saw two men arguing with each other.
“Look, I didn’t steal your iron!’ said the man on the right, he had a yellow shirt on and worn leather boots on. Hiricho could see that he was lying.
“ Really! Then what is this?” said the man on the left who was wearing green shirt and jacket with leather-padded shoes. “ While trying to find my missing iron I found THIS IN YOUR CHEST!!!” he said his voice rising with hysteria.
“THAT IS MY IRON I BOUGHT IT MY-!”
‘THEN WHAT ARE MY INITIALS DOING-!”
“I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING THERE MAYBE THE-!”
“SHUT UP!!!!” Hiricho shouted, startling the two men out of their argument.
“Now I have been here long enough to see what you two are arguing about and trust me I am not impressed.” He said in a voice slightly louder and deeper than usual “First, you” he pointed to the man on the left “I will give you some of my iron if you need it so bad, and you need to stop stealing other peoples things.”
Both of them were so shocked that someone had intervened that they hadn’t replied.
“So now what are you doing in these parts, the only town for miles is Atlantis. And trust me you’re not going to get in to that the way you are acting.” He said sternly as if talking to children; maybe this was a sign of his later life.
The rude one on the left scoffed, “ Atlantis that stuffy old town HA who would want to live there? We” he said pointing to himself and the man with the green shirt. We are going to Falcon.” He said
“Falcon?” Hiricho said, “how far is it?”
“About over that hill” said the man on the left finally getting his composure back. “I don’t think we have been properly introduced my name is Brian Nidley and this is my friend Michael keys.” He said “but you can call him monkey.”
“Well then” Hiricho said “since I’m here I might as well come with you to Falcon.
Coming over the second rise the town of Falcon came into view. It was a small bustling town, What other people saw in Falcon Hiricho had no Idea but after a short time looking at the town he saw the reason people wanted to move there. It had a sort of rule free air that a new town had do anything build anything do whatever you want feel, just like Atlantis in its early years. Hiricho saw a small tree of the to the left of a north facing beach a marker that he had found a while before. After seeing of Monkey and Bridley off Hiricho walked back to the spot where he had left the wheelbarrow with the wood in it and brought it back to Atlantis.
After about a month Hiricho hadn’t needed to leave Atlantis to get anything, as he didn’t need anything. He spent many a day fishing from the roots of his tree, checking customers in to his hotel, and just maintaining his work. There was a wooden plank near the front door that had rotten and fallen in. Hiricho had already used all his wood that he got from a month before. While passing through the woods Hiricho remembered the last time he had gone to collect wood from the forest, it was then that he remembered Falcon. He decided to walk past it on the way to the forest.
As soon as he came close to the rise he knew something was wrong, he town of Falcon was usually bustling smoke coming from houses. No sound was coming from the village people should be talking, cows mooing, sheep grazing. Dropping the wheelbarrow carefully to make no sound, Hiricho moved above the mound. He would have gasped if not for the suspicion that he was being watched, thanking his days of thieving he moved stealthily towards the wrecked town. Wooden floors burning and roofs caving in, grass flattened where people must have been dragged away. Hiricho crouched behind the ruined well and investigated a small bloodstain on the floor. After thoroughly looking through the town and finding no sig of life other than small rats and some rabbits sniffing the outside of the town. Grabbing the wheelbarrow Hiricho jogged back towards the recently constructed bridge that leaded to Atlantis.
“Braccus! Whence!!” He shouted in a hoarse voice after dropping his wheelbarrow next to the town hall. Whence opened the door to his house looking surprised.
“Whence we have to put the town on full alert a nearby town has been attacked and they might come after us,” Panted Hiricho trying to catch his breath.
“OK I will alert Braccus and we will put the town on high alert.” Said whence as he kept the door open so Hiricho could catch his breath inside gratefully Hiricho stumbled inside and sat down on a chair.
Since Atlantis was a small town the best kind of defence would be a wall and Hiricho moved right away to create it. Though it wasn’t more than a large barricade made of wooden tools carts and wooden logs. Whence organised a guard from the few people and a curfew was put up for 11pm. After a while fewer and fewer people came to this small town on the sea and seeced less strict towns and places to stay but, they still had many people in the town and after about a month the curfew was lifted.
This is no where closed to finished the reason I have uploaded it is because I am bored and just needed to get something out there. Also if this is uploaded I have more of an incentive to finish it.
