Reason why you are banned: "dont advertise on my server"

I was locally banned because I was talking to a friend on this server. The reason he was on this server was because he had updated to the latest version of minecraft and didn't know how to backdate it, I told him that the server had been updated. While talking to my friend he asked me what the server IP was of this server we played on because in december 2011 minecraft didn't have the option to save servers into a list. So me being me I straight up told him.... and the rest of the server apparently.I realized later that I probably should have PM'd him the server IP.

Why your ban should be lifted: While I played on this server I found the people to be quite friendly and it was an enjoyable experience to be in the community.

This should be under the perma banned players thread.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure that it did have that option in december, the full game was released in November and I'm pretty sure the server list was added in 1.8.
