Rober.Hobs. I propose a business compromis as we are both farmers, If you promise not to sell any sheep(and sheep produce) cows(and cow produce) Reed(and products made using reed such as books and bookshelfs) and pumpkins(and pumpkin produce: lanterns and seeds) I will promise not to sell any pig(and pig produce) chickens and chicken produce, wheat(i will sell bread though but that is not for own gain, but for the gain of rull since I am in charge of the farm, i will charge a higher price than you) and melons
We can both sell wolves, cats(idk how though xD) cacti(although all the dye selling belongs to me as it is part of my sheep farm) mushrooms
cocoa beans are also a dye, but meh do as you please with that, sell it or dont, up to you
also we both do cake since i have sugar and milk, and you have eggs and wheat
Do you agree on the previously stated conditions?

How would this be breaking capitalism, it basically a controlled monopoly, they work together to keep the upper hand in the agricultural based economy

Well controlled monopoly is really against the core philosophy of capitalism which is constant competition. I mean socialism is at it's essence a controlled monopoly administrated by the state with a number of organisations. Cooperation is socialism and competition is capitalism.

Since this conversation is going to go off-topic i suggest we don'tdiscuss it here but the end goal of capitalism is a controlled monopoly, ultimate corporate power. Capitalism is supposed to be this system where freedom of competition is the central thought yet on a long term this would (irl already is) ultimately be overthrown by the company producing the best product, when most people would buy only from the one superior company the rival competition would eventually die due to the lack of funding and interest one of the best exaples of this is AMD v. Intel. Everybody wants an i7 just because it is superior and AMD doesn't have a product that is anywhere near as good as the processor mensioned earlier.
Capitalism is an illusion, only monopolies exsist, even small independent companies are owned by banks for they need to pay off mortgages.
Socialism doesn't exist IRL either since for it to excist there shouldn't be any corruption at all in our so called democratic goverments. Here's a nice challenge for you, name a top politician that has no ties to a company (IMPOSSIBRU)
