Maybe use capital letters and bold the headings? Expand more on each section? Just read the accepted apps and compare.

in game name: mikehk what would you do if accepted for this position? I would greet all the new people in a friendly way, I would attempt to answer every question they have, I would attempt to get more involved in RP, (refer to more information), I would try to be more involved in the server, I would try to be on more, I would advertise for this server (if allowed) whenever possible when on other servers.
Everything I made bold (which is a whole section basically), makes me think you want to be a guide to motivate yourself to play on the server and to interact in RP. |

Not so much desparate as looking like assholes too. Besides, that kind of advertising never works. It only attracts griefers and hackers.  |
