I am planning on submitting a minor goddess for addition to the official server cannon and was wondering if I could get some comments on the way in which I would like to add her.
I would like to publish her 'bio' as a six-part series. Each part of the series will be written as a message that is received by your characters in some way (currently I have two drafts: one has the message given by an 'Oracle' [read: 'crazy drunk'] at the inn in Rull, the other has the message appear to your character in a dream sequence).
Each chapter shall contain a riddle from the goddess that leads to one of five shrines scattered about Mirugan. When a riddle is solved and a particular shrine is found a new chapter shall be posted here on the forums. Also in each shrine is a portion of the final riddle which will lead a role-playing adventurer to the Great Altar of the goddess. Upon finding an offering at the Great Altar the final chapter of the biography shall be published.
Obviously giving all the details about the goddess would ruin the adventure of trying to learn who she is, however I think it might be really fun to have an RP game associated with the goddess rather than just submitting a bio to the unoffical lore section.
Would it be possible for me to submit a full version of the bio to a staff member first, get it reviewed and accepted into official lore and then release to the general public in individual chapters as part of the RP game?
Also, if anyone wants to help with setting up the game or proof-reading the chapters I could probably use one or two people although I've finished most of it already.
