Race: Mushroom-Men Height: 4-9ft Diet: Mushrooms, Mushroom soup and mooshroom beef Habitat: Mushroom forests and mycelium fields God of worship: OnddoFang Secondary Gods of worship: Viridia and Uisceair World of Origin: Miscellanea Leader: Boletus Fungus Friendly Races: Elves, Mermen, Vampires and Pigmen (living) Neutral Races: Humans, Dwarves and Enderites Likes: Mushrooms, darkness, heat, water and mooshrooms Dislikes: The cold, light, swine and netherwart Sub-species: Red mushroom-men, Brown mushroom-men, Mycelium mushroom-men, Yeast mushroom-men Eye color: neon colors(lime green, neon pink, etc)
Mushroom-men come from the world of Miscellanea, a land of mushroom forests and mycelium fields. They worship the god OnddoFang. After the arrival of the nine worlds the mushroom men took inhabitance on a archipelago in a far away ocean. Eventually, a plague called netherwart, which infected and killed fungi (as far as they currently have proof of). A young man named Boletus Fungus was blessed with the power to fight the netherwart. He then led his people across the seas for many months, in which they finally arrived in central mirugan. They formed mushroom and mooshroom farms. The peoples culture involves music made using drums made with hollowed giant mushroom stalks and mooshroom leather. They are skilled with nature and healing, more so than many other races.

I think a race of people focused on culture and healing abilities is a nice change, and very, very needed. You should seek Datric or Serpum IG to see if you could service as medics for the war effort somehow (just a suggestion.)
Also, not sure if it's a typo, but "Enemy Races: Pigmen and " - and what? Or is it just pigmen? Other than that, it's nice imo

The are a few others like mermen that have no entries or characters, which I find quite sad. The Pigmen and part I forgot to add in enderites. I will take that suggestion to mind about war medics but I have a feeling that I might want the mushroom-men to be on Lucavex's side, still I'm not 100% on the idea yet so I'll need more time to think. I will be trying to promote the less used races and convince people to try and choose mushroom-men, dwarves and elves over some of the more Common Enderites, vampires and the almost completely every player chosen, Humans.

Lucavex's side is actually essentially destroyed. With Aku-Rei marrying into the Blackwind family and basically leaving that life behind, and the my old character/general kind-of-discharged and most-certainly-dead, it would be easy to say his forces have scattered. If Luca does end up making a comeback, what little remains will be woefully destroyed if he tries to bring it back together. EDIT: The real figure of evil currently is Hon, but considering he's a nether lord and you and your people are obviously a bit averse to that, it probably wouldn't work out. He also has few (if any) player supporters, and no actual figurehead.

You should actually, get the race accepted before you start making a thread like this. Just what I thought you should know.

I think no one really payed any attention to merpeople and mushroom people so thats why I think it was never written. If you go onto ormans piece about the races and write something up in a similar style that he has done, he might approve it, he might not. Thats what orman did for the elves.

Yeah I already covered this with him on his bio and asked him to make a submission for review to possibly be added to the bestiary if Orman doesn't mind it. Also he's the only one so far to care about this race. LoL.

I think you should leave out the enemy section-its very unlikely that dwarves and mushroom men are enemies considering they are both members of the Ancient Races.

I get what you mean by that but Dwarves mine. Mining destroys nature. Mushroom-Men love nature. In that sense it would mean that they wouldn't be the best of friends.

Okay. First of all, mining doesn't destroy nature as much as you believe it does. Where do you think the Elves get all their stone and minerals for weapons and building? Most Elves love nature the most of all, yet they still have to cut trees down for wood if they want a house by the end of the day.
Sure, I can understand why you say nature-lovers wouldn't like miners, but consider this fact as well: Not all Dwarves mine. You are making a stereotype about the Dwarves, and I suggest you rethink it.

Whatever, the grudge does not have to come from this destroying nature stuff. Some races just have a grudge against each other, even if they do form strong alliances.
