Guardian equipment and regulation suggestions

The thread below is a suggestion as to what tools the Guardians may use to better themselves in the task of protecting Rull and her king. Anyone can post any suggestions, and they will be reviewed. Serpum, I rarely see you online anymore, so if you could give a seal of approval or denial here, it would be much appreciated.

Log books:

Every Guardian will be equipped with a new, editable book, in which he/she will record instances of strange activity, criminal sightings, arrest, etc. Guardians will submit these as "Reports" when major incidents occur and they make an arrest. Logbooks shall be granted to superior officers for reading, until turned into King Futos for bi-weekly, weekly, and monthly reports. Upon the completion of a logbook, a new one will be issued by one Matthias.Zael (XRyanSeveranceX) upon request.

A suggestion for any scouts you may recruit along the way. Have them take shears, flint and steel, and a shovel with em. Shears make traversing jungles a breeze, and the resulting leaf blocks make wonderful shelter material. The fling and steel is for making a campfire, of course, and the shovel makes digging a hole to place the firewood a breeze. Plus, in snowy regions, the shovel can collect snowballs. Snowblocks are as good a tool for making shelter in tundra as leaf blocks in another more humid biome. An axe is another good option, but strangely not as useful.
