~Tairagondia~
Before Tairagondia there was the Farimon region said to have been formed from the ashes of a single broken man banished from his own homeland. This man was Paytoe Gandmon.
It all began in the 15Th century year 1423 Garkandia City, Moldam 9Th Mitori. Paytoe Gandmon was summoned to his homeland's kings court as he was said to have been ransacking the town and services to rake in a profit for his own purposes. Sadly these accusations were not proved solidly and many said it was a rival that had framed Paytoe to get him banished from Garkandia. Whether or not if these facts were to have been proven or disproven, the decision depended on the kings decision of the whole situation. Unfortunately for Paytoe all disproven facts about the accusation were mearly put aside by the king and Paytoe was banished from his own hometown, Garkandia, escorted by the royal guard. Paytoe was given very little time to gather what belonged to him at his home and soon was finally escorted outside the walls of the great city and was sent on his way never to be heard from in his town again.
In 1425, after 2 years of begging, stealing, and desperateness, Paytoe stumbled upon a strange land formed from floating sections of grass and rock and overhangs not ever thought to be physically possible before. After deciding that these mountains would scare any one traveler and raider in there tracks at the shear might of the mountains, Paytoe decided to settle down there and make a small stone keep for himself for protection against the worst that could possible happen to him.
In the year 1434 after years of solitude, Paytoe began to set up small plots and a gravel road between the plots connecting the plots to his keep and began to house any traveler brave enough to make their way into the mountains and make home at his establishment. Historians are not sure when the first travelers arrived there but they guess the first to settle in the area came in about the time of New Years in 1435.
In 1440 the small encampments population had grown big enough to attract some raiders into the area, so Paytoe ordered that there would to be a small cobble wall built at the very outskirts of the town for the first line of defense against raiders. During this time Paytoe meet a very beautiful women named Lora Farimon. The connection between them was said to have been almost instant and soon got engaged to one another. After pondering on about the now large encampment that he had grown from his own hands Paytoe had decided that it was time to give his encampment it's rightful spot in the world and began to claim the land far past the town claiming all of the mountain terrain around the town. He called this claimed land the Farimon Region after his wife.
In 1448 now at the age of 39 Paytoe had a son Paytoe Gandmon the second now 8 years old. The little encampment had grown past the stages of a little encampment and was now grown to the size of a small local town alive with people of all kinds of origins causing the town to become the mixing hub for all walks of life in the land. But with this came huge responsibility for Paytoe, as he was know king of the town, and he had little time to pay any attention to his family. This continued neglect from his father caused his son to become cold and hard on the inside, and as he continued to grow and mature into a young adult he grew in bitterness hating his father for the way he neglected him. Soon though Paytoe had become very ill and was put into critical condition, stuck in the hospital, only getting worse with the passing hours, and finally in 1465 after fighting off the deadly illness on and off for 17 years, Paytoe died in his hospital bed late at night passing on his crown to his son now 25 years of age. But with the illness Paytoe's son was still neglected in his mind and by age 25 his soul had been twisted and corrupted so much that he had no pleasure in anything but making everyone's life miserable like his childhood had been like. Paytoe the second took away most of the people's rights after his sudden crowning and began to rule over the town with a cold iron fist, bringing along no happiness with him, spreading misery where ever he could in the town. People had tried to resist the cold hard rule from the new king but could not escape and had no other choice but to stay back in the town. No longer could the people enjoy the normals of everyday life, speak their free mind, or make any choices normally made by them like building a home a certain style with their wanted mats or make something as simple as a flower garden to things like what to eat or wear. That was all decided by the king himself. To make sure that no one would rebel against his rule Paytoe the second trained a new kind of warrior, the brutes as he called them, these warriors were like no other, they were pure cannibals as some called them. They would break into any home they thought was trying to rebel and beat the people inside, most of the time just the father or males. But no matter how hard one tries to stop rebellion they can not keep the soul of freedom from any one person, it just takes time...
1795, Zicamgar's Idle Shaldine 13Th Tendren. 330 years after the dramatic crowning and alteration of Farimon's freedoms, the Gandmon family was still in power and as predicted they were still ruling over the land with a cold iron fist. From time to time a decent king would come along for a short while before passing by the exact same disease that Paytoe had fallen to, it seemed as though the Gandmons were under some sort of illness that had followed them since the beginning of the Gandmons themselves. As usual the king ruling over the town then was harsh to his people, easily much more cruel then Paytoe Gandmon the second had been. This king was Henry Fayton Gandmon. At this time a young traveler named Douglas Huber was exploring the land and had stumbled upon the Farimon Region. Excited to find anything after a long time of search after leaving Clarifen, Douglas rushed toward the gates and into the town. At this moment people were surprised to see anyone to brave moving into the town, yet this stranger happily moved into the town, oblivious to the rules enforced. Used to the freedom given back in Clarifen, Douglas built a house of a style that he thought fit the town perfectly without hearing of what materials the king let him use. Hearing news of this stranger and his ignorance to the rules, the King himself made a visit to Douglas's house. Without warning Henry ordered the home to be burned down to the ground and left a note for Douglas telling him to follow the rules or meet the force of the Brutes. Douglas, taken aback by the burning of his home, decided to follow the rules set by the king and asked the King again to build his new home in a predetermined area. Henry made sure to state his power and put Douglas's plot at the edge of town near the least appealing area, the sewage pool. Douglas was beginning to wonder if he had made the right choice of staying in Farimon but pushed it aside knowing that the next town was probably hundreds of miles away. A couple of weeks later Douglas was at a local bar in Farimon speaking out his mind of the Kings rule when he was overheard by a nearby Brute. The Brute had tried to take hold of Douglas and beat him for his speaking out of the King and breaking the rules once again. Lucky Douglas had heard the lumbering giant escaping his grasp, but not without being left a huge gray mark on his face left by the large fist of the Brute. Enraged by the Kings horrible rule and the life that he gave the towns people Douglas began to have meetings around the entire town making sure that he didn't send off any suspicious signals to the Brutes. Slowly Douglas began to raise the attention of the horrible rule of the King and people began to resist the King in their own ways. Eventually Douglas had risen the rebel spirit in the people and made a name for the rebel group, this name was the Tairangondian Rebels after thinking of a name that would state the power they had.
1796, Zicamgar's Silence Jamura 12Th Sarcolay. With growing tensions rising towards the Kings rule and hearing word of a rebel group on the rise in his town Henry called a town meeting in the town square to tell of new laws enforced towards the "suspected" rebellion. Hearing of this Douglas told all men at his command to prepare with every weapon they could get their hands on as well as armor of any kind and meet at the square to attack at a simple signal. The towns people pooled into the center of the square at noon, just as the King said. Douglas and his followers followed the crowd into the square scattering every which way, armed to the teeth with concealed swords and bows, ready to pounce at the outburst of Douglas and his key word. Some say that key word was freedom. Finally the last person entered crammed into the square and Henry had begun his bland speech on the suspected rebellion. Halfway though the speech Douglas burst out yelling at the King at his statement of keeping peace through brute force, bursting out with words of what real peace was, what it really meant to decide how ones life should be lived finally ending his outburst with his signal word. With that final word, the rebel forces sprang up all around the town clashing against the Brute forces surrounding the crowd. Seeing the sudden outburst of rebellion Henry ordered all under his command to kill Douglas for betraying the King. Cries of death and clashing metal rang all around the square and bounced off the walls of the buildings. Archers rocketed arrows at the brutes trying to protect the swordsman clashing with the huge Brutes. Soon the huge iron-like men retreated back to save themselves from the large group of rebels. Douglas and his men felt a huge rush of victory as they had just fended off the Brutes. The Great Rebellion had begun.
1798, After 2 years of bloody fighting and tremendous loss on both sides of the war the kings forces began to run low and Henry pulled his forces back to the square to protect himself from the rebels. Douglas saw this as his prime chance to put an end to the fighting and win the war for the rebels, freeing the people of Farimon once and for all. Douglas massed his forces in the alleyways around the square and charged the blockades on all sides trying to overwhelm the remaining forces protecting the king. Weathered and beaten down even the Brutes were easily pushed aside by the well supplied, confident rebels and they stormed into the keep. Douglas finally meet the cruel King Henry face to face. The two leaders clashed each other, each trying to strike huge blows at each other, trying to get the upper hand. Henry struck a blow on Douglas left arm, degrading his power drastically. But tricking Henry, Douglas got him to think him as badly wounded and "fell" on the floor. Taking advantage of this Henry rose his sword high above his head to strike his hurt foe. But Douglas easily saw the open gap in his chest and thrust his sword at Henry's chest. The sword stuck the middle of Henry's heart taking him by surprise, dropping his sword onto the ground, stumbling back and falling over a nearby edge onto the square below. The reign of the Gandmons had finally ended and a new dawn for the Farimon Region began.
1798 Zicamgar's Reign Moldam 20Th Sarcolay. 3 months after the death of Henry Gandmon, new plans of government were being made by Douglas and his newly selected assistants. Douglas wanted to make sure nothing like the Gandmon rule would ever happen again. To make sure of this Douglas came up with an old type of government rarely ever used by any other town before them. This government type was called Democracy. Douglas put in new rules for the people to follow, much less harsh then the previous rules set in. As well as much more freedoms Douglas set up a voting system in order to make sure that the people state who is the real power in the town. As well as putting in a new system Douglas changed the name of the ruler of the town, which is now called the Taridom. In edition to this system all citizens will get the ability to vote on town projects, new laws, and town issues like war. Citizens can also decide to put in a request to change a law or add a new law to the current government structure, which will be considered and sent to the public for voting. Finally topping off the overhaul of the town Douglas renamed the town Tairagondia in respect towards the brave men who fought for the freedom of the town.
In 1805 Tairagondia, after several votes cast and recast decided that Tairagondia was to be under the forces of Rull and Victor Capez in the war against Lucavex and all nether monsters that dared step foot into the land they called Mirugan and protect it with their own lives. This soon put Tairagondia on the map and drew the attention of philosophers to scholars to battered warriors of all kinds. This serge of new people brought new ideas to the town and it grew to accompany observatories, labs, libraries, and much more. The Tairagondian army also grew and began to organize itself into a semi-structured military soon establishing a permanent base of operations to which would house everything needed for the new army. This was the beginning of the golden age for Tairagondia and set a path for to the town's distant future.
