My suggestion for the forums and character bios is organize the character bio submissions into topics of their race.
So say you want to be an elf, you write your bio and you put it in the character submission topic for elves. It organizes characters and allows the people that have the most information about that race and know the lore the best to easily find those character bios and comment on them. This will allow better feedback to those players that are applying and will improve the characters rp history.
My suggestion is to have the 5 different races to have a topic for the character bio submissions, and one approved bio submission thread. But this idea can also be done with the approved bio submission topic. That would easily allow players to read up on the characters of that race in order to get an idea of how to write a bio.
