Dear Owners, Administrators, and Moderators, i would like to make a formal plea. My friends and myself have long been searching for a server with strong roleplay aspects and plugins. when we found your server we were struck with the beauty and finesse of the structures we saw. the sheer depth and attention to detail that just the spawn was created with, left us in awe. seeing the incredible architecture and after reading the rich lore of the server we were inspired. inspired to build a wonder on par with those that we saw literally seconds into entering the world. after much searching we found the perfect spot. there we started construction, roleplayed, and improved our characters.
after the first couple of days though, we for some reason attracted the unwanted attention of a certain "raider". this raider decided to attack and kill us. at first we understood as this was to be expected with a roleplay server. but then upon respawn we were killed. and again, and again and again. sometimes we just had time to look around after respawn before we were killed. then he left and we went back about our business, replenishing our resources. not half an hour later he returned and it happened again. in the span of one night i had been killed more times than i could count by one man. now, even this i had to grudgingly admit was a part of a RP server but after this continued on and on, projects that normally only take minutes took up the span of an entire night.
I understand that raiding is okay and there are no rules against what he did to us, but it is incredibly disheartening to a new player on the server to have someone so high leveled target you and keep killing you. in truth i feel that if this continues and i am incapable of proceeding in my building, my two friends and i will have no choice but to find another, more new player friendly, server. other than the issue of the player in question you have an excellent server, i just wish i could do things on it.
In short i love your server and your creations are incredible, but the issues outlined are to the point where i can not enjoy the server. my plea is this; if you could please do something either to protect newer players or put restrictions on killing without RP relation, we would be able to enjoy and contribute to the server. we hope to add to the already incredible lore and put a new city on the map, but as things are, this is not possible. judging by the amount of new players killed almost immediately, large amounts of players new to the server leave feeling its not worth being killed constantly by overpowered people. I feel if you address these issues the server would likely become more popular and more trafficked.
