Spwack, do not lose hope. I have asked Lucavex about your application and he says all is looking good. Not sure when they will decide who takes the position though.
Good luck, Sbongkh ;D

Ok, I'd support you becoming an instructor, but not the Headmaster. Its nothing against you personally, but having almost no RP straight to Headmaster is a huge jump. I vote for you to be an instructor, and maybe rise in rank by legit promotions and such. Good Luck!

How active would you be expected to be in order to have a chance in this position?

I'd say a decent amount, so you can meet with the instructors, preform upkeep, and just general RP being there. Also, the Head Master could even teach the super-advanced classes

Spwack, thats not much. Have you been to hell and back literally? Have you gone through 4 Attacks on Rull? Taken Lessons at the Schools? Lead a group of Men to fight invading monsters? Lead the Rull Guardians? I can go on. The unique thing about this server is that it's realistic. You dont go from normal player to Mod in days, like other servers. You dont rise in rank in no time for anything. It took me months to get where I am now, and will gladly take the time needed to advance further. Just slow your roll, start at the base, and work your way up. EDIT: Also, Zasuti was in MY TOWN for awhile (not sure why, but whatev ) So I ruled over him in a way!

I see your point. However, I will still try at becoming headmaster. If i don't, no biggy. I won't chuck a tantrum, I won't quit the server. I will just go RP and gripe for a little...
P.S. I think he's still hanging around clarifen

Also, plenty of very new people give a one-line application and want to be sheriff/headmaster/chief-of-awesome etc. and expect to get it.

Hey spwack, Netherender is the headmaster. I used to be, and that was because I played on the server for many months, helped out, and played a lot of rp. I was also realistically good at building redstone contraptions, and preferred that to magic, although I was working on writing some new heroes skills to teach in classes. It takes a lot to fill that position, and I assure you Nether has even more impressive credentials. Hang in there, and prove yourself. The best way is to play without hope for promotion. You play better when not distracted by such things.

I agree with pajos completely about the promotion thing. Hell, I don't play for anything like that and look at where I got. I was an assistant to Rome, and I'm a proud member of one of the nicest towns on the server (Elysium). The point of me saying this is to forget about all this stuff. Make an app and forget about it. Play for fun and prove your worth. That's how I got respect on the server. (at least, I think some of you respect me slightly...)
