I have no idea why I was banned. I was mining and all of a sudden it said i was banned for xray. I don't even know what xray is and I certainly wasn't doing that, or anything else wrong. I've been on the server for 2 weeks now and have nothing but respect for the AOC community. Please unban me.

if you are caught lying about your appeal it will not be lifted. a server staff member will look this over

The admin team has decided that you need to wait out your time. All your tunnels went straight to diamond and nothing else, no other ore.

that's ridicuolous. The only ore I don't mine is red stone. I hadn't even found diamond when i was mining that time. I've only played minecraft for a short time, and didn't even know what xray was until I looked it up.
Go look at my tunnels. I dig down to bed rock, then go up three blocks. then just start digging straight. Every 8 blocks our so, i dig up, left, and right to see if there's any ore.
If I was digging to diamond I knew was there, don't you think my tunnels would be STRAIGHT to diamond?
So I was banned on a hunch?
What's the point of a ban appeal if it doesn't work in my case, for someone who honestly has done nothing wrong? It seems like griefers always get their bans lifted, but mine stays becuase you 'think' I knew where all the diamond was. Just ridiculous.
So please, go investigate some of my tunnels so I can get the apology I deserve.

Dude dont blame the staff. That just makes it worse. We have lb and it said you went just to diamonds vexx said. Vexx is a admin and he has better LB tools then the mods.

also, im sure the admins have the ability to look into my inventory at the time i was banned.
I don't think there was ANY diamond. there was 18 or so gold, and tons of coal and iron.
Does that sound like the inventory of someone who was cheating and looking only for diamond?

I'm not blaming the staff. Just pointing out that there's an obvious flaw in the system. I have done absolutely nothing wrong.
What's lb?
and lb isn't a reliable tool if it led the admins to the conclusion that i was cheating.
Don't you think if I had been xray'ing, that I would just accept this punishment and get over it? I've done nothing wrong to deserve this ban, and it burns me up that I'm getting accused of cheating.

we use log block to check exactly what you mined, and check the tunnels that you mined in for clear indicators that cheating was involved. a tunnel made by a person using xray is significantly different from a tunnel that is made by a legitimate player. krazzie has deemed the tunnels that you have made as clear indications that you were using soem sort of 3rd party mods or hacks. LB also tells us how many diamonds you have mined and the frequency for which you mine them.

This blows my mind.
I don't even know what to say at this point. I guess there's nothing to say, seeing as how my temp ban is up in a few hours. The ban doesn't even matter to me anymore. Now it's just the priciple of it.
I'm getting accused of doing something that I didnt, and you're saying there's proof that I did. Tell me, what is so unique about my mine tunnels that leads you to believe i was using a mod?
I don't even understand how anyone would make any other type of tunnels.
So next time I go mining, am I going to get banned again, just because of the way my tunnels look? ??

I love this server though. That's my dilemma.
I've never caused any trouble, or had any problems with the way it was run at all. I have nothing but respect for all the admin and mods.
This his just thrown me for a loop. No one likes to get accused for something they didn't do.
I'll get over it.
I just hope I don't get banned again the next time I go mining, becuase I don't know any other way to mine than the way I always have.
I'll quit bitching now. I'm sure I'll forget it all in 3 hours 42 minutes.

Just saying that xray miners have certain tunnel characteristics like your tunnel which had one strip from stone leading to diamond with no clear indication of diamond. it was also in the ceiling. thats either xray or luck. probably not the latter
